Summer internship in Center for the 4th Industrial Revolution Ocean Technologies (C4IR Ocean)
A summer internship in C4IR Ocean gives you the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team to map or create solutions to the most common ocean sustainability challenges, leveraging 4th industrial technology. In addition to our highly competent and enthusiastic C4IR Ocean team, you will have access to our close science peers in REV Ocean and innovative techies in Cognite. Our objective is to bring industry, academia, government, and the public together to create new and better ways of harnessing rapidly emerging data technologies to heal and restore the ocean so it can be resilient and economically productive. We are building the Ocean Data Platform as a central tool in our efforts to unlock the power of ocean data. The platform is designed as a global, open-source, integrated data digital ecosystem built to pilot and support new data-driven tools to improve ocean health and productivity.

The internship will last for a total of eight weeks, starting from mid-June and ending mid-August. The internship will take place at C4IR Ocean headquarter at Fornebu, Norway, but remote work will also be considered depending on the Covid-19 situation.
We are seeking the following qualities and qualifications for our interns: Motivated, innovative, solution oriented, team player and a burning passion for the ocean. All student, all ages, with a background of user interaction design and/or graphical/visual design are encouraged to apply.
